THE SALVAGE COMPANY
When you think about ‘Salvation’, what picture comes to mind? When you think about that word’s cousin, ‘Salvage’, what picture do you see? The Bible has much to say about “the common salvation”, but over the centuries the term ‘Salvation’ has picked up a lot of religious baggage that God never intended. So when we look at Christ’s role in the lives of people in the Bible, we see a large salvage operation, but not much “religious training”.
Beginning this weekend we’ll examine how the Lord touched people’s lives in the gospels as a model of what role He wants us to play today. You and I are to be part of a great salvage company giving purpose to purposeless lives.
