“Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been saved” (Ephesians 2:4-5).

Paul is saying here that none of us deserve anything but the wrath of God. God is holy and He created us to represent Him on this earth. We were not good representatives of God’s holiness.

But, instead of the wrath of God, He provides the grace of God. This is because God is rich in mercy. To deliver us from the wrath of God, we have to be made alive with Christ. Jesus Christ is the key to transferring your wrath of God for the grace of God.

And, remember, God is still rich in mercy toward you.
