Pastor John Lloyd preached about the exchanged life, ours and Christ’s. When we are dead in Christ, we are dead to the world. Temptations really aren’t temptations anymore when we no longer desire them. That’s what Jesus paid for on the cross. To be dead to the world is to be alive in Christ. When you’re alive in Christ, all the promises of God become ours.
