JUDE – LIGHT AND DARK

   Posted by: pastordiehl   in Uncategorized

This weekend we talked about the Book of Jude and the battle between light and dark in the early church. I tried to pull out of the Book several truths that we could all use in the church today. Our battles are spiritual, not physical. We need to approach them as such and not turn against the people God has called. And the message to rescue the perishing is more current today than it was then. There are so many deceived souls needing rescued that we cannot get caught up in our own personal wants in the church. Agree or disagree? What is your two cents worth?

Definetly agree. We are in battle time now more than ever. The message this weekend confirmed several things the Lord has been dealing with me on in my own personal walk with him. The last couple of years have been a bit difficult for my family and I and with out God I just don’t know where we would be. Learning to walk with him everyday I believe is the only way we are coming through to the other side. Of course he knew that all along, I assume that was him trying to get us where we need to be. Not there yet but on our way. I guess we might be some of the hard nuts to crack wide open.Darkness is all around us but what you said is true he snatched me up and rescued me if he did it for me he can do it for all and give us the ability to help others, leading them to Christ.Anyway, Good word last night, it was an inspiration and confirmation for “such a time as this.”
