CORE VALUES 2

   Posted by: pastordiehl   in Uncategorized

This weekend we celebrated 30 years of ministry in DeKalb County by combining all 3 weekend services in 1 big one held at the DeKalb High School auditorium. We tried to do some special things that would peak your interest.  And I tried to share my vision for community building in our church.

I’m interested in your comments about that service and message. Did we do OK? Do you agree with the community building and relationship building concepts. Did you leaving feeling good about our church? What was the best part of our celebration?

Today’s service was just phenomenal. Christ was most definetly present and it was a wonderful celebration. My husband and I both enjoyed it very much. The worship team and choir did an outstanding job and pastor Diehl we can see with God’s anoiting on you why the church has grown so much with your leadership. God is so good and it is such a blessing to us to attend New Hope. We believe very strongly in the church’s core values and look forward to seeing what the next 30 years will bring. Thank you for listening when God called you. God is working in our community and beyond because people like you and Anita and many others that just listened when God called. As we watched today it was quite emotional just to see Adam leading the worship team and just for a few minutes thinking about what 30 years of you and Anita’s dedication and following God has done. I praise God for all who were involved in the planning of today’s celebration. We did agree with the community and relationship building concepts, and left feeling great about our church. I don’t think a best part of the celebration can be picked out for us because from start to finish God was just there and you could feel him in the room.
Thank you——–

The service was wonderful! The music was great! I want to say thank you to all the great people that missed the service to take such good care of our kids today! Everything seemed to run really smoothly and that says a lot for how many kids you had! Well done! This church shows its true colors when it comes to taking care of and teaching our children–it’s not just talk but actions too! The core values aren’t just words either, but can be seen acted out in our church and community interactions–thanks for the great examples our leaders are and I am in awe of the body and all that it does to show open arms to our community! God has truly blessed New Hope and I am so grateful it is my church family now…

To the Glory of the Father. May He ever be praised. This service was awesome in many ways. I actually teared up when you were speaking about loving our God and CARING for ONE ANOTHER. We are called to be faithful in that. Thank you, Pastor. Many times I have felt held back because I am a woman. I have never felt that with New Hope. And I just think it is sooooo cool that an ‘old ladies’ like me are still allowed to serve on the worship teams. Bless Adam. He doesn’t even seem to notice. Do I sound excited about the future? I am. Bless the Lord!
