ADVICE FOR GRADUATES

   Posted by: pastordiehl   in Uncategorized

This weekend I shared some real practical points of advice for people starting in the job market. And, because we had our kids in with the adults this week, we tried to make the message “Kid Friendly”. What was your opinion on that service. Was the worship and sermon “Kid Friendly” enough? Was there something that we could have done or said better? Do you agree or disagree with the message?

This is your opportunity to add your thoughts and help us evaluate.

We both thought it was a good service! I do think it is important to include the kids in adult services from time to time. Can the shoulder rubbing break become a new tradition?! :)

Wonderful. Just delightful to see everyone, including most kids, singing Jesus Loves Me. The ladies in my area thought the shoulder rubs should be part of our weekly service henceforth.

I believe the service was very well done. It was very nice to see the little ones singing praises. The service provided something for everyone. I especially liked the laying of hands on the children and praying for them.

I thought you did a great job of making the service kid friendly. I like the idea of having the kids in the service to see their parents worship, but it would be nice if maybe the kids under age 5 would go to a class before the sermon starts. Just a thought.

I also thought the service was well-rounded. Only wished we would have communicated that some of our High Point kids also “graduated” to their next class or to the Sanctuary.
