I'm guessing missionaries don't get very far when they show up and start condemning those sins which are simply cultural norms to the people. The best way is to win people's hearts with the gospel, and as they learn the Word let them discover God's plan for themselves and how to follow Him, choosing to leave sinful behavior behind as they put on the new man.
