PEACE AS A FRUIT

   Posted by: pastordiehl   in Uncategorized

This weekend we talked about Peace as a Fruit. I’m interested in your thoughts on that message. Did God show you anything through it? What will you do with the message? Do you think it was realistic or too idealistic? Did it leave you with questions? Can I help clarify something from the message.

As a pastor, its my job to impart spiritual truth to the church body, but I’m also interested in what God is saying to you at the same time. Let me know by commenting below.

You said it was a commandment, but that it was easier to say then to live out (having peace in our lives). There are times I can easily feel God’s peace, but what can I do to re-focus during the times/circumstances that overwhelm me and during which I really don’t feel that peace? Like now, when I am so frustrated and angry over circumstances that are so not in my control, there is not peace in my home or my heart, much less joy or love. I hear your heart pastor, in your sermons, but I am having a hard time getting past myself in order to live them out…

Molly, Don’t misunderstand. Peace alludes us all. God has peace for you, but you’ve got to search it out. Search God’s Word, talk to Him about the problem, and pray together with the partner God gave you. Anita and I have been there many times and have sensed that peace come after seeking. Jesus said, ‘Seek and ye shall find’.
