At least, as Christians, we have a weapon to fire!! It may be loaded with blanks but we have something to fire. With the help of the Holy Spirit and good teachers of the word, we can be discipled and turn our knowledge to wisdom and get the weapon loaded with the right stuff. They had hope that the blanks would scare the enemy. When our hope turns to testimony, we have something! We all need to get our weapons loaded with live ammo, "Jesus". He is the only thing alive that counts when the going gets tough. It makes the whole crew stong when we see the enemy getting defeated. All it takes is live ammo, the Word of God. If we pull the trigger, God will guide the ammo!! It's a sure hit with Jesus!!

How I know what firing blanks for Christ means. I grew up in a Christian home all of my life with loving parents. I accepted Christ as my savior when I was twelve but did not truely live for him. My teen age years were not that great. I thought everything was alright with my relationship with Christ, but I was wrong. I was riding that fence of luke warm and cold all of my life and it caught up with me throught my relationships with family. A while back I was talking to one of the elders of the church ( a great friend now) about my relationship with Christ and he ask me if I was a Christian and I said sure, but he said have you surrendered your life to him. I thought a moment and I could not really say that I had made him the Lord of my life. We prayed and a burden was lifted off my shoulders like I had never filt before. Praise The Lord! Make him the Lord of your life and watch what happens in your life. God is Good! I am not saying my life is perfect, but God is in control of everything that I say and do and I am not firing blanks no more.
