VACATION

   Posted by: pastordiehl   in Uncategorized

Anita and I have been on a working vacation trying to get our basement back in shape. I’ve been putting the trim back up around all the doors (some of it needing glued from splitting), hanging a chairrail in the bathroom and den, and priming and repainting all seven rooms down there. Its tedious work but will look nice when its done. Tomorrow I will purchase stain for the baseboard trim that will go down when the carpet guy gets his job done.

All this work to repair the mess the flood made. It reminds me of all the work God must be continually doing to clean up the mess we make of our lives. I’m so thankful He never takes a vacation!

Good luck on you work there at home. I too am glad God does not take a vacation. He surely has had a job to do in my life cleaning up the messes i made and i Thank Him every day for what He has done and is doing in my life.Eva said to me at church one day ” I don’t know how people live with out God in their lives”. How true!

And I don’t know how people could ever manage to raise children without being able to pray for them every day. Sounds very difficult to me.
