Got You Covered

It’s almost 2 PM and we are home and settled. Pastor is sleeping right now, and I think comfortable.
I’ve been reading all your comments to Pastor and we are both enjoying and appreicate all your comments and prayers. We do feel extra close to each of you right now.

It has been amazing to feel such ‘cover’. As we waited yesterday for Pastor to come out of surgery, Adam, Nathan and Emily sat with me. My family was there all day with me and it was so good to share the time with them. What impressed me was they were all available, to run to the car for the overnight bag, eat lunch with me, help their dad if he needed anything, walk me to the car and follow me home after dark. We were able to all meet at Applebee’s around 7:30 PM, also meeting my brother, who is here from North Carolina right now. We had a great time together. After leaving Applebee’s my brother followed me home.

I thought on the way home, “I’ve had someone with me all day, covering me, protecting me, and looking out for me.” That was a very special thought. Then I realized how much more Jesus had watched over us all day. He watched over Pastor when we were waiting, watching over all of us all day long. It made me realize how special each of us (you included) are in God’s eyes. He has promised to never leave us! Remember God is watching you! He cares very much! Remember He’s “Got You Covered” too! How have your felt His ‘Coverage’?

Part of me wondered if Pastor would be sore today from his walking excursions yesterday. Hope all is going well.

Hey guys! My mom just called me and updated me about the surgery and told my about this website. It’s good to see that everything went so well and its so encouraging to see how God is giving strength physically and spiritually! Cole and I will be praying for you-we hope to be home over Christmas so perhaps we’ll see you soon!

You guys are both such a blessing to my kids and me. I am so happy that everything went so well. Anita, I know what you mean about God covering us and always being there. That has been more real to me in the last couple of months than ever before. God has really provided for my kids and me in the past and I know that he will continue to do so. It is an encouragement to me to see how you guys are really relying on God through all of this. We will continue to keep both of you in our prayers.

Anita and Pastor I had a real wise man tell me once that God has me in the palm of his hand and that is what I really count on. There are times that I can’t see the next step and I pray and step out and there he is. So faithful and so kind and so loving. I know that God has his best angles standing all round you guys and if we could only see what God is up to we could not contain our self. God Bless you and yours.

Pastor and Anita,

It’s a wonderful realization when we discover how completely God is caring for and protecting us! We can truly have “peace in the storm”. So glad you are home and on your way to recovery. We are praying that the Great Physician completes the healing that He has begun in you. Thank you for the blessing you have been to our family and countless others in the community.

We are so pleased that the surgery went well and also to hear about the peace and comfort you all are experiencing. I thank God for that. You are such dear friends….a true blessing in our lives. Hi guys. I’m glad things are going well. Heck, what did we expect, it’s what we prayed for :) . Anyway, Anita I have often wondered just how often we are protected from “things” and don’t even realize it. Praise God for His greatness, His faithfulness and His Love. God is good!

God is Good! We are constantly amazed at all the areas God covers us and the kids. It is so good to be under his protection and care. Thanks for leading the way and showing us how to stay under His covering.

I am reminded of the scripture:
Ps 91:4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge: his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. I am so thankful he covers all of us daily and so thankful you have found his covering to be so comforting.

Once again you guys do it! Even in your trials you still minister to others. Your comments about the “coverage of God” made me cry. It is so easy to get our eyes on the “storm” of problems and forget who is holding us and protecting us through it all. Thanks for the word Anita. May God minister to you all as you minister to us in all things.

I am sure everyone at New Hope would agree with me that we are so blessed to have the both of you. I am thankful that Pastor is recovering so well. Both of you mean the world to us. Always keeping you both in my prayers for a speedy recovery. God bless the both of you. We both love you very much.
