NASTY STUFF

Posted by: pastordiehl   in Casting Out Cancer

I wrote this Sunday because Monday I’ll be in the hospital and by the time you read this have already had my surgery. Sunday I had to drink a whole lot of prescription stuff (a whole gallon in a 3-hour period) to get my system ready for the procedure. I alternated between drinking and running to the bathroom.  They also put me on a couple of antibiotics to help my body fight potential infection.

Anita says she doesn’t want me updating everyone Monday, either, because she said I’d be loopier than normal with all the pain killers. So, perhaps she’ll give you an update if you check this blog Tuesday. Meanwhile, I’d really appreciate your prayers for a speedy healing.  Thanks.

I awoke last night praying for you, since I know you are three hours ahead of us in Portland Oregon. Have been praying this morning, as well. We love you, and you continue to be in our thoughts and prayers today.
